HAPPY BIRTHDAY TARA

Well I’m sorry for not posting our Wednesday special last week, but as you can guess we were a little busy!!!  I need a slow down week badly.  I think Dave and the kids do as well.  For sure we will have the Wednesday special up this week.

As for what has been going on around here I am now a matron of honor for one of my best friends weddings that is going to be at the end of October.  So I had to get the bridal shower going.  For the bridal shower I am making all the prizes and favors.  I will take pictures and post them when they are done.  I am also going to be making the pillars that are part of the center pieces for the wedding.  I will take pictures of them as well.  :)

Other things that are going on around here are David’s school.  He is LOVING all the learning and doing very well in all of his classes.  The kids have there homework every night. On tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursday nights David has class so I am working with the kids.

I have also got some crocheting  done.  I bought a pattern from  thnkdfrent shop!  Love the pattern I got from there!  I am not very good with patterns but this one was very easy to read and understand!  So if you are looking for a pattern and she has it GET it.

Well with everything Changing a little around here with the kids back in school, and now Daivid being in school again.  I desided we are going to start a Wednesday Special.  I will try and post this on Tuesday nights from now on.

Today Wednesday sept. 9th 2009 our special is

$1.00 off of all breakaway melts!!!  So now instead of $4.00 they are $3.00 today only!

I already adjusted the price on our ETSY shop.

In our ARTFIRE shop we will have to refund the $1.00 for each one.

Today we’re going to a huge weekend kite show on the beach in Two Rivers. It’s always a great time and I’ll be sure to take plenty of pictures.

After that it’s off to an art exhibit for a family friend featuring some great music. Plenty of pictures of that will be taken as well I’m sure.

Yesterday Erin made several hats in various sizes from kids to adult. Once we find a shop name that isn’t taken that she likes she’ll have a shop featuring her crochet work, pendants, and a lot of great vintage finds.

It’s been a while since our last post. I’m sorry for that. Life is getting more stable again and time is getting managed better, so we’ll be back at this regularly now.

Just a quick update. I’ve returned to school this year, and both of our kids are in school for the year as well.

Tomorrow we’re planning on making A LOT of soap some of which will be restocks of batches getting low. There are many new soaps we have been planning as well and we’re very excited to get them started.
